A double post today, and we’ll start getting nestling into the winter night with Jingle Bells by Mannheim Steamroller. This is a lovely group that has been around forever and does a lot of nice synthesizer work, amongst other things.
Last night my girls had the pleasure of riding the Polar Express. This was a wonderful trip on a cold night with snow on the ground from the night before. We made it all the way to Santa’s village at the North Pole thanks to a magic tunnel. You’ve probably seen the videos of houses with Christmas lights completely decked out and sequenced using this song. It does a great blend of a traditional festive feel done on guitars/synthesizers/and all that good stuff.
